So much to tell, so little time. Part 2

Ok so I finally got picasa to cooperate a little... at least enough to share the pictures I took yesterday :D funny, they would only upload in backwards order :P goofy thing... But I'll post them here in the right order ;) not that it really matters... Now this is just from the walk I took yesterday morning, not the one I took in the afternoon when I ran my feet off... I wish I'd brought Kali that time too but UJ brought his cam... good thing, too cuz we found a hawk :D anyway... pictures:
We'll start with yet another picture of zee awesome oak tree. Well, one of many awesome oak trees :D it reminds me of the HSA tree :P

Now this is really cool! As I was walking down by the one pond, shading my eyes from the sun, I heard a fowl noise. I looked up just in time to see two ducks alighting on the pond! So I aimed and shot as fast as I could but I wasn't fast enough to catch them in flight... but I did get them swimming (the one is a little hard to see) but this is my first successful picture of waterfowl! Wild waterfowl no less ;)

I then proceeded to take pictures of the lovely pond

Then I tried taking more picks of the quackers... see if you can see him ;)

Unfortunately, in effort to get a better position for shooting the ducks, I scared them off :-/ isn't that just my luck. I got a pic of them flying off, though.. It's just not a terribly good pic :-/ Oh well. You win some and ya lose some :D shooting wildlife isn't easy :P (or tame life either for that matter... inanimate objects are sooo much easier to work with ^_^ )
I took a panorama of the pond. I accidently messed up though :-/ one of these days I'll get a tripod (hint hint: my bday is in May ;P )

click it so you can see the whole thing cuz it's way awesomer that way :D <3 panoramas B-)

I really like the HSA tree and the stump picks. We need to go shutter bugging together sometime! :)
