Do you like LOLcatz? I do. I find cats to be very entertaining. Especially when combined with a camera. The nice thing about cats is that not only are they self-entertaining, but they're also a great source of entertainment. Ever watch a kitten discover something? Even if it's a completely inanimate object (such as a rock or a stick), they can manage to entertain themselves with it for hours. Anyway, amongst my little flock of cats, I have my share of comedians and free entertainment. And sometimes they're obliging enough to let me take pictures of them in their silliness.
Here's a good example of what I mean... Barley likes climbing trees, yes. Most cats do. But most cats stay near the trunk. Unless, of course they happen to be pursuing a bird or a squirrel or something. Not Barley though... no... he ventures dangerously far out on a branch to take a nap.
Bitty Bop is no exception to the comedic ring. She's cute, yes, but sometimes I wonder if she doesn't have a few screws loose. Now admitedly, she's innocent in this picture. Peat moss is soft, so it makes a nice bed. It just happens to be funny. Like she's some gardener or something. I'm sure she was trying to convince my mom that she's helping plant blueberries, not sleeping on top of the blueberries like the other cats are! ;)

Oh wait... so much for innocence... A little while later I came back and she had occupied the empty pot next to her brother and daughter. Notice the cute innocent face? Don't be fooled. Cute, yes, innocent, no.

This is one of my cats' favorite comedy acts right here. Their big, dramatic cat-yawns. These make great LOLcatz pictures because you can pretend the cat is saying anything and you'll probably get a good LOL out of it. For example, imagine Barley is laughing at a joke his sister told him. Or perhaps one of the blueberry bush branches is poking him. Or maybe you don't know it's a blueberry bush. Maybe it's a cactus. Did you LOL yet?

This one could be funny or just plain cute. It would probably be cuter if she didn't look a little bit dead. Yes, we bury our cats in planter pots. We hope to grow new ones that are bigger and better.
This was supposed to be another yawning picture, but the shutter was a little slow, and caught the mouth half-closed. So he looks like maybe he's groaning. Either that or he's dying a slow and painful death. I prefer the former interpretation, however, as the latter brings back sad memories... **ahem**SO there you have it. My cats would be proud to know they qualified for an LOLcatz blog post. If only they knew what that meant. But they don't. So they'll just be happy to live another day to nap in planter pots and laze around in the sunshine and provide another moment of entertainment for to brighten another dreary day.
